Inspired by porcelain dolls, childhood diaries, quilts gifted from grandma, and other remnants of home in all of their kitschy glory, Dear Dolly, Dear Diary is a lingerie-esque blouse which manifests itself in its most delicate and hyper-feminine sense. The garment is meant to inspire the wearer of a more nostalgic time, a memory clouded in puffy white figures and angelic rays of light. The blouse works to play with proportion and asymmetry, while still remaining balanced. It also plays with a variety of sheer fabrics allowing for unique combinations of layering and depth.
